christopher saban - information

contemporary australian art

Chris is a sydney based creative with extensive experience in fine art, decoration and design. Following study at the National Art School, he has exhibited in numerous group shows in Sydney and Melbourne with both commercial galleries and artist run spaces/events.

His art work to date uses a variety of media, including drawing, painting, collage, sculpture and photography. Exploring details in the natural landscape and urban enviroment with reference to his experience of culture in australia, asia and the south pacific.

Chris works by day as the senior designer at the Sweet Art cake scuplture and event comapany in Paddington. With his design/ styling work appearing in Vogue, Vogue Entertaining, Cosmopolitian, Madison and mosts other major commercial fashion and special event magazines.
